Navstar is seeking a DevOps-focused professional to lead a small team and strengthen our product delivery lifecycle. You will oversee Kubernetes-based deployments, patch and upgrade systems, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to maximize efficiency across development, testing, and production environments.

The role requires TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, and familiarity with AWS, Helm, GitOps, and GitLab CI. Strong documentation and collaboration skills are essential, with on-call duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph is required.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Junior) with two years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Finds deficiencies in the product delivery lifecycle and architecture and implements best practices to improve them.
• Oversees hiring of a small DevOps team for operation and maintenance of products.
• Patches and upgrades existing product(s) for reliable customer delivery.
• Maintains development, testing, and production environments.
• Manages CI/CD pipelines to maximize efficiency.
• Implements industry best practices for system hardening and configuration management.
• Develops and maintains solutions for operational administration, backups, disaster recovery, and monitoring.
• Tests system integrity and deployments; makes improvements as needed.
• Manages code deployments, fixes, updates and related processes.
• Works with CI/CD tools and Git for source control.
• Provides technical support and develops software for back-end systems.
