Job summary

Celestica is seeking a Junior DevOps Engineer to accelerate engineering productivity by building and promoting tools, documenting workflows, and integrating third-party utilities. The role involves testing and deploying infrastructure, training teams, and supporting multiple engineering groups across the Americas.

Responsibilities include building CI/CD pipelines, automating processes, and deploying in Azure and Google Cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering or equivalent.
• 1–5 years of relevant DevOps/engineering experience.
• Hybrid work requirement; candidates must be able to work from Austin, TX or San Jose, CA.

Responsibilities

• Develop CI/CD pipelines using Python and scripting languages.
• Represent Engineering Teams when investigating, implementing, and deploying tools and processes.
• Provide training and best practices for newly deployed tools to engineering teams.
• Handle complex operational issues requiring analysis with Engineering Teams.
• Automate workflows by researching third-party tools and building scripts.
• Work with Azure and GCP to deploy and manage infrastructure.
• Develop dashboards to provide visibility into workflows and project status.
• Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting for systems and applications.
• Integrate security practices into automated processes.
