Job summary

Celestica is seeking a Junior DevOps engineer to accelerate engineering productivity by building, promoting, and tracking tools, including AI operational tools, across multiple teams. The role involves documenting existing and new processes, implementing custom software, integrating third‑party tools, testing and deploying infrastructure, and training engineering staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in CS/IS/Engineering or equivalent combo of education and experience.
• Experience with CI/CD, automation concepts and tools.
• Experience with Azure or Google Cloud Platforms (GCP) and Linux.
• Experience with version control systems (Git, GitHub, GitLab).
• Experience with Jira and Confluence is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop CI/CD pipelines using Python and scripting languages.
• Represent Engineering Teams when investigating and deploying engineering tools and instituting process changes.
• Provide training and best practices to Engineering Teams for new tools.
• Support complex engineering operational issues through discussion and analysis.
• Automate workflows by investigating third‑party tools and developing scripts.
