Job summary

PGAL is seeking a Junior Designer for our Dallas studio, bringing 2-3 years of experience to contribute to a diverse range of architecture, interior architecture, engineering and planning projects.

You will work with mentors to develop design documentation, coordinating with the project team through all phases from concept to construction administration on projects including K-12 schools, libraries, and higher education facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field.
• Proficiency in REVIT; knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Skilled designer with SketchUp, Rhino, Enscape, and Revit.
• Excellent oral and written communication and teamwork.
• Willingness to pursue architectural licensure.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Work on multiple projects in varying stages, individually or in teams.
• Produce design documentation through construction administration.
• Coordinate with clients and project team during design.
• Contribute to a range of project types including K-12, libraries, and higher education.

We are currently seeking a talented Junior Designer with 2 3 years of experience who is interested in contributing to and thriving in a positive mentoring studio environment K 12 schools andor Higher Education experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Utilize strong graphic and design skills and the ability to work in a fast paced environment on multiple projects in varying stages both individually and as part of a project team
• Responsibilities will include all phases of design documentation through construction administration project management and client contact
• Project types may include K 12 schools libraries police stations fire stations city halls recreation centers and higher education facilities

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Architecture or related field from an accredited university
• Must have demonstrated proficiency in REVIT and knowledge of Microsoft Office Word excel and Outlook; InDesign proficiency a plus
• Skilled designer with proficiency in design software Sketchup Rhino Enscape and Revit
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a project team
• Interest in professional development and obtaining architectural licensure
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
