PGAL is seeking a Junior Designer with 2–3 years of experience to contribute to a mentoring studio environment. The role involves working on K-12 schools and higher education projects, collaborating with teams, and participating in design documentation through construction administration.

Proficiency in REVIT, SketchUp and related design tools is expected, along with strong communication and a desire for professional licensure. PGAL offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field from an accredited university.
• Proficiency in REVIT and Microsoft Office; InDesign a plus.
• Skilled design with SketchUp/Rhino, Enscape and Revit.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Interest in professional development and licensure.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Junior Designer

We are currently seeking a talented Junior Designer with 2-3 years of experience who is interested in contributing to and thriving in a positive, mentoring studio environment. K-12 schools and/or Higher Education experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Utilize strong graphic and design skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, on multiple projects in varying stages, both individually and as part of a project team
• Responsibilities will include all phases of design documentation through construction administration, project management and client contact
• Project types may include K-12 schools, libraries, police stations, fire stations, city halls, recreation centers and higher education facilities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field from an accredited university
• Must have demonstrated proficiency in REVIT and knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, excel, and Outlook); InDesign proficiency a plus
• Skilled designer with proficiency in design software - Sketchup/ Rhino, Enscape and Revit
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a project team
• Interest in professional development and obtaining architectural licensure
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
