Job summary

PGAL is an international design firm seeking a Mid-Level Designer with 3–5 years’ experience to contribute to a mentoring project team on diverse educational and public sector projects.

You will develop architectural documents and details in REVIT, support all design phases, and collaborate with the team to meet tight schedules while advancing professional growth. This role is based in the United States and requires work authorization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited university.
• Proficiency in REVIT and knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Good knowledge of US architectural building systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment as part of a project team.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Interest in professional development; Licensed or pursuing licensure.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Utilize strong graphic and design skills in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects.
• Prepare and develop architectural documents, elevations, sections and details using REVIT.
• Cover all phases of design documentation through construction administration.
• Collaborate with the project team to meet aggressive schedule deadlines.

We are seeking a talented Mid-Level Designer with 3-5 years of experience who is interested in contributing to and thriving in a positive, mentoring project team. K-12 and/or Higher Educational experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Utilize strong graphic and design skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, on multiple projects in varying stages, both individually and as part of a project team
• Prepare and develop architectural documents, elevations, sections and details utilizing REVIT under the direction of other project team members
• Responsibilities include all phases of design documentation through construction administration
• Work closely with the project team to meet aggressive schedule deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field from an accredited university required
• Must have demonstrated proficiency in REVIT and knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, excel, and Outlook)
• Good knowledge of US architectural building systems
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and part of a project team
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a project team
• Interest in professional development; Licensed or currently pursuing architectural licensure
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
