Job summary

The Toro Company, headquartered in Bloomington, MN, seeks a Mechanical Engineer to join a cross-functional team developing and refining agricultural and lawn care equipment. You will design components, run analyses, and document solutions throughout the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline).
• 0–3 years of engineering experience in product development or related fields.
• Experience using 3D CAD software for design and documentation.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop component and system-level designs for new products, enhancements, and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Create and maintain 3D CAD models, drawings, BOMs, and documentation.
• Perform analysis, feasibility studies, prototype evaluations, and design validation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet performance, cost, durability, and manufacturability goals.
• Support prototype builds, testing, and documentation of findings for design improvements.
• Research materials and manufacturing processes to enhance product performance.
