Job summary
The Toro Company in Bloomington, MN is seeking a Product Development Engineer III to lead cross-functional teams in developing innovative commercial products. You will oversee design, analysis, vendor coordination, and prototype builds, ensuring safety and compliance with Toro standards.
The role requires PE licensure or active licensure path, ABET‑accredited engineering degrees, and 5+ years in powered equipment.
Qualifications
- Requires PE license or active path toward licensure.
- ABET accredited engineering degree(s) required.
- Minimum 5 years in powered equipment industry.
- Ability to lead cross-functional development teams.
- Experience with design reviews and project planning.
Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional team for commercial product development.
- Perform engineering analysis with FEA or electronic simulations.
- Develop product design plans including budgets and schedules.
- Coordinate with Marketing, Manufacturing, Service and Test.
- Oversee prototype builds and vendor interactions.
- Ensure compliance with safety and Toro standards.
- Participate in quality system and continuous improvement.
