Job summary

Leidos is seeking an Entry-Level Test Engineer in Huntsville, AL. You will create and run test plans, document results, and brief stakeholders. The role requires a relevant B.S. and DoD clearance eligibility, with potential outdoor work and up to 50 lb lifting.

Preferred are experience with test planning, Python, LabVIEW, and Linux/MATLAB/Wireshark, along with system integration exposure. On-site position in the Huntsville area.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited B.S. in computer engineering, computer science, or electrical engineering.
• Understanding of developing and executing hardware or software test plans and procedures.
• Hands-on experience with hardware, software, or system integration, troubleshooting and testing.
• Ability to document test artifacts, test results, and supporting technical deliverables.
• US Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
• Residence in Northern Alabama or willingness to relocate to Huntsville, AL.

Responsibilities

• Create, modify, and execute test plans to satisfy program requirements.
• Complete requirements verification and validation documentation and reports.
• Brief internal parties on test results and data.
• Possibly work outdoors in all weather conditions and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Travel for test events around ~4 weeks per year.
