Job summary

Leidos is seeking an Entry-Level Test Engineer in Huntsville, AL, to create and modify test plans, verify requirements, and report results. The role involves potential outdoor work, lifting up to 50 pounds, and minimal travel for test events.

The ideal candidate holds an ABET-accredited BS in computer engineering, computer science, or electrical engineering, with hands-on experience in hardware/software/system testing and documentation. US citizenship and DoD clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Requires ABET-accredited B.S. in computer engineering, computer science, or electrical engineering.
• Candidate must have basic understanding of developing and executing hardware or software test plans and procedures.
• Candidate must have hands-on experience with hardware, software, or system integration, troubleshooting and testing.
• Must be able to document test artifacts, test results, and supporting technical deliverables.
• Candidate must be US Citizen with ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
• Candidate must reside in Northern Alabama or be willing to relocate to Huntsville, AL.

Responsibilities

• Creating, modifying, and executing test plans to satisfy program requirements.
• Completing requirements verification and validation documentation and reports.
• Briefing internal parties on test results and data.
• May require working outside in all weather conditions and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• May require minimal travel for test events (approximately 4 weeks a year).
