Qualifications

• Recent graduate with a Bachelor's or Master's in a quantitative field.
• 0-1 year of related STEM experience.
• Foundational knowledge of statistics, probability, experimental design and ML concepts.
• Hands-on Python or R through coursework, research or projects.
• Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, SQL, Jupyter, matplotlib, seaborn, Power BI).
• Ability to explain technical work clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrated problem-solving, collaboration and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to translate questions into analytical problems and success criteria.
• Explore, clean, join, and validate data; document data quality issues.
• Build baseline and advanced models using statistics, ML, optimization or time-series methods.
• Compare models and evaluate uncertainty, bias and generalization.
• Create visualizations and presentations that explain methods and findings.
• Collaborate to move analyses from prototypes to reusable, monitored solutions.
• Use version control and reproducible workflows for maintainable analytical assets.
• Adhere to cybersecurity, data governance and Responsible AI requirements.
• Develop domain knowledge in energy and industrial systems.
