Job summary

Everforth ECS is seeking a Jr Data Engineer to support AI and cloud solutions in a hybrid capacity, with minimum three days onsite at our Fairfax, VA corporate office or Springfield, VA customer site. The role emphasizes extracting, transforming, and loading data, including text and JSON, and processing geospatial data for mission-critical DoD work.

Qualifications

• Requires US citizenship and ability to obtain TS/SCI with CI Poly.
• 0-2+ years of relevant experience or coursework in data engineering.
• Experience with Python and SQL; data transformation and parsing of text/JSON.
• Experience with geospatial data is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Participate in meetings with customers, vendors, and internal teams to coordinate datasets for AI efforts.
• Collaborate with engineers to extract, transform, and standardize data for ML environments.
• Support data ingestion automation and ML algorithm integration.
• Design and develop data services and pipelines; act as data advocate for the project.
• Assist with prioritization and data requirements management.
