Job summary

Everforth ECS seeks a Software Engineer (Integration) to develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise solutions in an Agile team. The role is hybrid, requiring a minimum of 3 onsite days weekly at the Fairfax/Springfield, VA area, with opportunities to engage on AI/ML and big data/cloud projects.

Applicants should have a CS-related degree, 2–5+ years of experience, and proficiency in Python, C++, and JavaScript, along with DoD/compliance familiarity and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related IT field or equivalent experience.
• Ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance and pass CI Poly.
• 2–5+ years designing, coding, deploying, and supporting enterprise-level systems.
• Proficiency with Python, C++, and JavaScript.
• Strong analytical and reasoning skills to visualize processes and outcomes.
• Experience with brownfield applications and adding new features.
• Experience with DevSecOps frameworks (GitLab, Jira).
• Experience developing architecture and data flow diagrams.
• Experience with containerization/orchestration (Kubernetes, OpenShift).
• Experience with Linux CLI and scripting.
• Experience in Agile environments and ongoing task refinements.
• Excellent communication/presentation skills for stakeholders.
• Ability to quickly grasp new technologies and work in fast-paced settings.
• Travel less than 10% to CONUS locations.

Responsibilities

• Develop software solutions by consulting with stakeholders and analyzing needs.
• Evaluate feasibility and requirements, considering third-party options.
• Estimate timelines and work both independently and in a team.
• Brief stakeholders by collecting and summarizing development issues.
• Improve operations via systems analysis and process changes.
• Create tests and testing strategies to improve products and operations.
• Develop scripts to automate manual processes for throughput.
• Tackle challenges with imaginative solutions in a fast-paced setting.
• Work in person a minimum of 3 days per week.
