Job summary

Everforth ECS is seeking an AI Model Engineer to work in a hybrid capacity with minimum three days onsite at our Fairfax, VA office and/or Ashburn, VA site. You will design, train, and deploy end-to-end ML models for government and defense, ensuring secure, compliant, and scalable AI operations with DHS collaboration.

The role requires strong communication, deep ML expertise, CV/multimodal capabilities, and experience with Databricks, Spark, and ETL tooling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 6+ years of software engineering and data engineering experience.
• Experience with cloud architecture and AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, YOLO, ONNX).
• Strong communication skills and ability to interface with government stakeholders.
• US citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, train, implement, and maintain end-to-end ML models and pipelines.
• Develop computer vision models for object detection, tracking, and classification.
• Evaluate new AI/ML technologies for national security impact.
• Coordinate research programs and facilitate rapid prototyping and demonstrations.
• Ensure security, compliance, and observability in AI deployments.
