Everforth ECS is seeking a Junior Data Engineering Intern to work in our Fairfax, VA office for the summer of 2027. This internship offers a unique opportunity to move beyond the classroom and gain firsthand experience with production-grade workflows and real-world datasets. You will work alongside senior engineers and scientists to acquire hands‑on experience in data infrastructure and engineering practices in support of a DoW Artificial Intelligence initiative. Our team environment provides opportunities for growth to individuals who are motivated to excel. Key Responsibilities:

• Extract, transform and standardize data to prepare for ingest into Machine Learning (ML) development environments
• Assist with the design and development of data services
• Document data processes and workflows
• Complete data analyses, catering results to leadership in a holistic and easy‑to‑understand way
• Help ensure data quality and accuracy to support reliable analytics and insights
• Perform multiple tasks simultaneously and successfully under changing priorities and deadlines
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to project discussions
