Job summary

Albireo Energy, LLC seeks a Controls / Automation Engineer with hands-on PLC programming, Ignition SCADA, and integration experience to support our data center infrastructure. You will develop, deploy, and maintain industrial control systems used in uptime-sensitive environments.

The ideal candidate has experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs, Ignition SCADA, and industrial networking, and is comfortable working in fast-paced, uptime-sensitive environments.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of hands-on experience in industrial automation, controls engineering, or SCADA development.
• Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs and Ignition SCADA.
• Knowledge of Modbus TCP/IP, BACnet/IP, OPC UA and industrial networking.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, control diagrams, and P&IDs.
• Willingness to travel for commissioning and deployment activities.
• Based in Eastern or Central time zone.

Responsibilities

• Develop, program, and maintain PLC logic using Rockwell platforms.
• Design and configure Ignition SCADA applications, HMIs, alarms, and trends.
• Integrate PLCs and SCADA with third-party devices using standard protocols.
• Support EPMS and data center infrastructure systems.
• Assist in system architecture, controls design, and network layout.
• Participate in factory testing, site commissioning, and startup activities.
• Diagnose and resolve control, SCADA, and communication issues in live environments.
• Maintain technical documentation including control narratives.
