Job summary

Insight Global seeks a Jr. Data Analyst in Plantation, FL with potential for 1–2 remote days. This 6–12 month contract to hire role offers pay between $25–$36 per hour, depending on experience.

You will develop pricing proposals, model scenarios using large datasets, and provide analytical support to create accurate pricing quotes while collaborating with cross-functional teams for timely outcomes. Proficiency in Excel and AI tools is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field
• 1–3 years of experience in Pricing (if possible within logistics, finance, data analysis, or related field)
• Strong analytical and numerical skills
• Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)
• Ability to work with AI Tools
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Basic understanding of pricing concepts and financial metrics (e.g., margin, revenue, cost)
• Willingness to learn pricing tools, systems, and processes

Responsibilities

• The Pricing Analyst will be working to development pricing proposals and scenarios
• The position also provides key analytical support as required to develop customer pricing proposals and the updating and testing of new commercial models
• Create pricing proposals for both new and existing accounts
• Model pricing scenarios using large data sets for opportunities
• Interface with cross functional teams as needed to provide accurate pricing proposals
• Manage quote process; Interface with peers and managers for support and guidance as needed
• Utilize the department policies and recommend alternative pricing tactics
• Review and validate pricing quotes developed by Pricing Analysts to ensure accuracy and consistency with approved pricing guidelines
• Respond timely and accurately to Sales requests
• Understand and follow SOPs and KPIs striving for efficiency, speed, accuracy, and quality focusing on enhancing customer experience
• Support onboarding of new team members
• Enter changes to surcharges and account administrative updates in SAP
