Job summary

McLane Company, Inc in Temple, TX is seeking a Senior Data Analyst-Pricing to develop data models for pricing strategy and to apply statistical methods that analyze how pricing changes affect profitability.

You will create forward-looking financial statements, forecasts, and dashboards to monitor pricing KPIs, while preparing cost and pricing proposals and analyzing submissions. This role requires a Bachelor’s degree in data science or related field and 6 months of pricing analytics experience.

Ensure the integrity and accuracy of all pricing matters, while also applying statistical modeling methods to determine the potential impact of different pricing strategies on profitability. Create interactive statistical and data-driven models, develop forward-looking financial statements and forecasts, and track and measure pricing key performance indicators (KPIs). Develop reports to track and monitor pricing projects and assess pricing effectiveness. Achieve organizational value during the life of the contract by ensuring all appropriate fees and adjustments are actioned and drive a focus for the organization on value-based (vs. cost plus) pricing models. Prepare cost/pricing proposals and analyze proposal submissions.
