Job summary

Weill Cornell Medicine in New York, onsite, is seeking a data-driven professional to support Budget & Financial Strategy and Institutional Reporting. You will collect, validate, and analyze institutional data, then maintain reports and dashboards for accurate, actionable decisions.

You’ll generate monthly and quarterly budget reports, refresh Power BI and Tableau dashboards, and assist with report automation using Excel, SQL, and Python.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and at least 2 years of experience.
• Advanced Excel skills including formulas and pivot tables.
• Experience with Power BI or Tableau for visualization.
• Experience collecting, validating, and analyzing institutional data.

Join a mission-driven healthcare organization in New York, NY onsite, supporting Budget & Financial Strategy and Institutional Reporting with data you can trust. In this role, you will help collect, validate, and analyze institutional data, then maintain reports and dashboards that support accurate, actionable decision-making.

What you’ll do

• Generate and maintain recurring reports such as monthly and quarterly budget reports and KPI tracking.
• Update and refresh dashboards (for example Power BI and Tableau) using pre-built data models.
• Ensure reporting outputs are accurate, timely, and clearly formatted for stakeholders.
• Assist with report automation efforts using Excel, SQL, and Python.
• Pull and consolidate data from assigned systems including Financial/HR ERP, Student Information Systems (SIS), and the Faculty Affairs SQL database, plus other sources as needed.
• Clean and validate datasets to maintain accuracy and consistency.
• Flag data discrepancies and escalate issues to senior team members.
• Perform descriptive analysis on financial and enrollment data, including trends, averages, and growth rates.
• Create visualizations such as charts, tables, and dashboards for internal use.
• Gather data from departments to support surveys, rankings, and other reporting needs.
• Perform other related duties as directed.

What you bring

Location, compensation, and working conditions
