The successful candidate does not need extensive professional experience, but should demonstrate strong problem-solving ability, technical curiosity, and practical SQL and Python experience gained through work, internships, academic projects, bootcamps, portfolio projects, or self-directed learning.

This role is ideal for an early-career technical analyst who is curious, detail-oriented, and interested in using code to solve business problems. The role combines hands-on data work with business-facing reporting and insight generation across offline and online marketing programs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting and Dashboards

  • Use SQL and Python to improve reporting accuracy, reduce manual work, and create repeatable analytical workflows.

  • Use GitHub to manage code, track changes, and collaborate with the Analytics team.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into repeatable reporting solutions.
  • Investigate data patterns, variances, and anomalies, and communicate findings to internal stakeholders.

Campaign Data Support

  • Support outbound marketing campaigns by developing and validating SQL-based audience and prospect selection routines in partnership with marketing stakeholders.
  • Ensure audience selections align with defined business rules, campaign objectives, and data quality standards.

Data Quality and Platform Support

  • Perform routine data validation, quality assurance, and maintenance of reporting datasets and platforms.
  • Build or improve quality-assurance checks that identify missing data, unexpected changes, outliers, and inconsistencies.
  • Identify data issues, investigate root causes, and collaborate with internal teams to resolve them.
  • Work within a cloud-based analytics environment to support automated reporting and data workflows.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
  • BA or BS in a quantitative, technical, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 0 to 2 years of experience in a data, analytics, reporting, business intelligence, or technical project environment. Internship, academic, bootcamp, portfolio, or self-directed project experience will be considered.
  • Practical SQL proficiency, including querying, joining, filtering, aggregating, validating, and troubleshooting data.
  • Python experience used for data analysis, reporting automation, and workflow support.
  • Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to translate data into meaningful business insights.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
