Job summary

Maspeth Federal Savings is seeking a Junior Credit Administration Analyst to support loan review across Commercial Real Estate and Residential portfolios. You will analyze loan documentation, assess risk, and prepare data and reports to help management make informed decisions.

Reporting to the Credit Administration Manager, you will work with loan officers, underwriters, legal teams, and auditors to ensure compliance with policies and regulatory standards, contributing to portfolio quality and

Qualifications

BA/BS in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred.
2+ years of experience in credit analysis, loan review, or related financial analysis role.
Knowledge of credit policies, procedures, and regulations in financial services.

Responsibilities

Conduct in-depth analysis of loan applications and reports, evaluating risk and creditworthiness.
Perform loan file reviews to ensure compliance with credit policies and regulatory standards.
Analyze borrower financial data to identify risks affecting the loan portfolio.
Prepare risk assessments and recommendations for approvals, renewals, and modifications.
Monitor loan performance and provide timely reports on status, delinquencies, and defaults.
Collaborate with loan officers, underwriters, and legal teams to gather information for loan review and ensure smooth approvals.
