Job summary

M C Bank is seeking a detail-oriented Credit Analyst II to support sound lending decisions and manage portfolio risk across commercial and consumer relationships. You will analyze financial information, review loan documentation, enter data into systems, and support appraisal reviews in line with bank policy and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include reviewing applications, analyzing diverse financial data, entering statements and tax returns, and preparing well-supported credit

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in banking.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Premier, and Viewpoint.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review loan applications and ensure complete packages for credit decisions.
• Analyze commercial, real estate, private banking, and consumer data to assess credit quality.
• Enter financial statements and tax returns into analysis systems with accuracy.
• Review credit memos for accuracy and recommend updates or changes.
• Prepare clear credit recommendations with limited supervision.
• Apply risk rating tools and identify exceptions to policy or regulation.
• Coordinate with lenders and relationship managers to provide timely support.
• Route loan requests to the appropriate credit officer and monitor SLAs.
• Coordinate appraisal requests and review appraisals for quality and compliance.
• Support compliance with bank policies and federal/state regulations.
• Report policy issues and track corrective actions.
• Complete required training and stay current with policies.
