NSS has an immediate need for a Junior Corporate Recruiter to support one of our favorite clients. This 100% virtual role (Arlington, VA) is a 6-month contract. Its ideal for someone between roles who can start ASAP.

Its a great fit for an agency recruiter with 1–2 years of experience who is looking to make the jump into corporate recruiting.

The Technical Recruiter will handle full life cycle recruiting on a team focused on aggressive growth, primarily supporting the government contracting line of business.

Responsibilities

• Works with management to identify staffing needs, job specifications, duties, qualifications, and skills.
• Initiates contact with qualified candidates for specific openings.
• Reviews and interviews applicants on work history, education, training, skills, and salary requirements, then screens and refers candidates for additional interviews.
• Develops targeted, creative sourcing strategies for each open requisition.
• Uses online recruiting sources, industry research, and cold calling to identify candidates.
• Provides candidates with information about the company, culture, benefits, and opportunities.

Required Experience

• 1–2+ years of recruiting experience in a consulting, agency, or government environment.
• Experience recruiting IT professionals
• Track record of achieving aggressive recruiting goals in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of government contract recruiting strategy.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

MS Windows XP, MS Office 2003, MS Outlook, applicant tracking systems, and behavioral interviewing techniques.

Education

Bachelors degree strongly preferred.
