Exiger in McLean, VA is seeking a Junior Corporate Counsel to support the Legal Team with a focus on commercial contracts and contract lifecycle management. This entry-level attorney role offers a path to in-house experience, broad exposure to business matters, and increasing responsibilities as you demonstrate sound judgment.

You will draft and negotiate NDAs, SOWs, MSAs and other agreements; assist with contract analysis, research, and recordkeeping; and collaborate with business stakeholders

Qualifications

• J.D. degree from an accredited school and active U.S. bar membership.
• 1–3 years of post-J.D. experience in commercial law or contracts.
• Experience at a mid-size or large firm preferred.
• Strong drafting, research, and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to manage contract workflows and deadlines.

Responsabilités

• Review, draft, and negotiate commercial agreements including NDAs and MSAs.
• Support senior lawyers with contract analysis and legal research.
• Identify issues and risks; elevate matters needing review.
• Coordinate with business stakeholders to move agreements forward.
• Maintain contract records and workflow approvals.
• Assist with corporate recordkeeping and filings.
• Apply AI-enabled tools to improve turnaround time while protecting confidential data.
• Learn Exiger's business and risk profile and take on more complex tasks.
