This role involves providing legal advice across the company's various businesses, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations. Candidates should possess a Juris Doctorate, have 4 to 7 years of legal experience, preferably in a financial or technology-related field, and be admitted to the Virginia Bar. The position offers a competitive salary range of $180,000 to $235,000 annually plus bonuses, along with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Admitted to the Virginia Bar in good standing or authorized to practice law in Virginia.
• Prior experience in a financial/technology related business is preferred.
• Diligent team player with a good sense of humor is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and counsel for Nodal's businesses.
• Prepare, review, and negotiate various business contracts.
• Work with stakeholders to develop best practices.

Skills

Juris Doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school

Virginia Bar admission

4 to 7 years relevant experience

Working knowledge of contracts and licensing

Experience in contract drafting and negotiations

Excellent organizational skills

Well-developed communication skills

Ability to address complex legal problems
