Job summary

Construction Partners, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join the Corporate Accounting team in Raleigh, NC. The role supports monthly close, financial reporting, reconciliations, and various accounting functions across the organization.

The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, eager to learn, and ready to develop a strong foundation in corporate accounting, gaining exposure to multiple operating companies and evolving accounting skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred; equivalent education or relevant experience considered.
• Zero to two years of accounting experience preferred; recent graduates encouraged to apply.
• Basic understanding of GAAP.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with other Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities including reconciliations and consolidation.
• Support corporate overhead analysis, budget-to-actual reporting, and investigation of significant variances.
• Assist with fixed asset accounting, capital expenditure tracking, and related reporting, as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and improve workflow efficiency.
• Maintain accurate and organized records in accordance with company policy and regulatory requirements.
