Qualifications

• Knowledge of building automation systems
• Basic electronics, programming, and systems design
• Proficient in Windows, word processing, spreadsheets, email, and databases

Responsibilities

• Assist teams of installers in developing, building, testing, and commissioning building control systems.
• Understand configuration standards and best practices for current systems and methods.
• Develop and learn the basics of mechanical systems in the buildings served.
• Diagnose and repair control systems malfunctions using a laptop and appropriate software.
• Understand Cyber Security basics for commercial building networks.
• Conduct basic building control system installation, configuration, testing, and repair.
• Respond to BAS emergencies during off-hours if necessary.
• Prepare documentation and reports on work status and completion.
