McKenney’s Inc. in the southeastern United States is seeking a motivated entry-level professional to support building automation projects.
You will assist teams of installers in developing, testing, and commissioning building control systems, learning configuration standards, and supporting safe, high-quality mechanical solutions. Assist teams of installers in developing, building, testing, and commissioning building control systems.
Basic understanding of configuration standards and best practices for current systems and methods
Develop and learn the basics of mechanical systems that are in the buildings we serve.
Diagnose and repair control systems malfunctions using a laptop and appropriate software.
Understand Cyber Security basics for commercial building networks
Conduct basic building control system installation, configuration, testing, and repair.
Respond to BAS emergencies during off‑hours if necessary.
Prepare documentation and reports on work status and completion.
Must complete Pathway and pass performance checkout, as well as hold the role for a minimum of 6 months, until you can progress to Controls Configuration Tech 2.
