Job summary

Pike Electric, Inc. seeks an Entry Level Contract Specialist (Administrative) to assist with estimating, proposals and procurement of master service agreements and site-specific projects for distribution, transmission and substation work.

You will coordinate with project teams, participate in pre-bid meetings, and help manage subcontractors and pricing. Responsibilities include risk identification, contract setup, and support for emergency/storm restoration events, while developing industry

Qualifications

• Strong mathematical and communication skills.
• Knowledge of project management fundamentals.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist with estimates and proposals for site-specific projects and master service agreements.
• Review project plans/specifications and coordinate with the project team to confirm scope.
• Participate in customer pre-bid meetings (in-person or virtual).
• Identify risk issues and their order of magnitude.
• Solicit subcontractor and/or supplier information and pricing.
• Build relationships with customers, design team, contractors, suppliers, and user groups.
• Assist with contract negotiation and setup of contract management processes.
• Attend contractual meetings (pre-bid, negotiations, kickoff, post-project).
• Support emergency and storm restoration events.

Education

4-year college degree (engineering or business management)
