Pike Corporation is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support distribution and transmission construction projects for utility clients. The role focuses on estimating, scheduling, procurement, financial tracking, and coordinating activities to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.

The position offers exposure to field operations, clients, and internal teams, with opportunities to develop into full project leadership as experience grows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Strong understanding of project management principles and financial controls.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; MS Project/Primavera a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support projects from pre-construction through completion, including estimating, scheduling, and cost tracking.
• Monitor budget vs. actuals, manage forecasts, and provide weekly project updates.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution.
• Manage procurement, contracts, and change orders.
• Maintain strong client relationships and support ongoing communication.
• Ensure field teams have the information and resources needed for efficient execution.
• Apply risk management and financial controls to protect project performance.
• Assist with storm response and emergency restoration efforts.
