Job Description:
The Junior Contract Analyst will provide day-to-day support across contract administration, procurement, and related business processes. This individual will work closely with business leaders and cross-functional partners to help facilitate contracts, purchase requisitions, Business Associate Agreements (BAAs), and other contractual obligations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Create, input, and track purchase requisitions and associated approvals.
- Support contract reviews, amendments, renewals, and other contractual documentation.
- Assist leaders throughout the contract negotiation process by tracking terms, requested changes, approvals, and outstanding items.
- Coordinate the intake, review, execution, and tracking of BAAs and related documentation.
- Identify and escalation non-standard terms, contractual issues, or questions to the appropriate stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate contract records, documentation, key dates, and status updates.
- Support Workday activities related to requisitions, contracts, purchasing, and other applicable business processes.
- Partner with Legal, Finance, Procurement, and business leaders to ensure requests move efficiently through established processes.
Skill Set Requirements:
- 0–3 years of experience in contracts, procurement, legal operations, business operations, finance, or a related area.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
- Ability to manage multiple requests and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable partnering with leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Ability to review documentation, identify missing information, and recognize when issues should be escalated.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Nice to Haves:
- Experience with Workday or a similar ERP/procurement system.
- Exposure to commercial contracts, contract terms and conditions, or contract lifecycle processes.
- Experience with purchase requisitions, purchase orders, or procurement processes.
- Exposure to Business Associate Agreements (BAAs), HIPAA-related contracting, or healthcare environments.
- Previous experience supporting Legal, Procurement, Finance, Supply Chain, or Operations teams.
Education/Certification(s)/License(s):
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Legal Studies, Supply Chain, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
