Job summary

CMTS, LLC in Los Angeles, CA is looking for a Junior Scheduler to support construction schedules for educational facilities and public works projects. You will work with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors to track activities and identify schedule impacts.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in architecture/engineering/construction management, one year of scheduling experience, and proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Office.

Qualifications

• One year of full-time paid experience in scheduling for an Owner or General Contractor.
• Proficiency in Primavera Latest Version and MS Office Suite.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to build efficient working relationships with project teams and department staff.
• Superior organizational and planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide construction schedule review comments for contractor-generated Baseline Schedules and Monthly Schedule updates based on LAUSD templates.
• Assist the scheduling team in creating and populating various schedule-related reports in Excel and P6 software.
• Create Earned Value Curves based on LAUSD EVA template guidelines.
• Perform QA/QC on contractors’ schedule submittals for conformance with contract scope and requirements.
• Analyze schedules for proper use of program level standard codes, layouts and reports necessary to ensure data integrity.
• Perform QA/QC on P6 program schedules and validate logic ties to ensure conformance with scheduling guidelines for various project types.
• Update the master program schedule with as-built start and finish dates while coordinating input from various Facilities teams.
