Job summary

CMTS LLC in Los Angeles is seeking an Associate Scheduler with 3+ years of full-time scheduling experience on educational facilities or public works projects. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Primavera P6 and MS Office, and possess strong written and verbal communication skills, plus the ability to read architectural plans.

You will review baseline and monthly schedules, develop filters and charts, perform QA/QC on submittals, ensure data integrity, and support earned value reporting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-time scheduling experience for a project owner or general contractor, preferably on educational facilities or public works.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and the MS Office Suite.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to build strong team relationships.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural plans, drawings and contract specs to scope work.

Responsibilities

• Review baseline P6 schedules and identify missing scope, logic, or milestones and analyze the critical path.
• Review monthly P6 updates and document schedule slippage with structured comments.
• Create activity filters, layouts, and bar-charts in P6 to assist the team with critical path analysis.
• Perform QA/QC on contractor schedules to ensure conformance with contract terms and scheduling guidelines.
• Prepare reports and support scheduling management in project reporting.
