Job summary

Turner Construction Company in Seattle is seeking an entry-level Project Safety Assistant to support EH&S on construction sites. You will assist with training, safety program administration, and compliance with regulations.

Qualified candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in safety or related field and at least 1 year in construction safety; strong written and verbal skills; readiness to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related field with 1 year of construction safety experience.
• Knowledge of federal, state and local safety regulations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to identify safety exposures and propose corrective actions.
• Proficient computer skills and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Assist with enforcement of EH&S policies on construction projects.
• Assist with training and implementation of safety programs.
• Review subcontractor safety programs for compliance with regulations.
• Coordinate safety meetings and document minutes.
• Assist with site safety audits and incident investigations.
