Job summary

Turner Construction Company is hiring for an entry-level Environmental Health and Safety role in Seattle, WA. You will assist with enforcing safety policies and coordinating training on a dynamic construction site, while gaining hands-on experience in risk management and incident documentation.

The role emphasizes workforce safety, OSHA standards, and collaboration with project teams to ensure compliance and safe work practices at site locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Engineering, or related field.
• Basic knowledge of safety/environmental principles and techniques.
• Familiar with federal, state, and local EH&S regulations.
• Familiar with general construction operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with enforcement of EH&S policies on construction projects.
• Support inspection and reporting of safety conditions and incidents.
• Coordinate worker orientation and safety training.
• Review subcontractor safety programs for compliance with regs and contract requirements.
• Maintain safety records and prepare inspection reports.
