Job summary

Eagle Rock Properties, headquartered in New York, seeks a Jr Project Manager to support the Albany Portfolio. The role assists with all vacant apartment capital improvements, ensuring units are renovated on schedule and within budget while maintaining high quality finishes.

You will collaborate with the Corporate Construction Coordinator, manage vendors, track progress, and report on renovation status. A background of 1–3 years in project management and construction is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of project management experience in a leadership role
• In-depth general construction knowledge
• Ability to troubleshoot infrastructure systems
• Highly organized
• Knowledge of local vendors preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Bilingual is a plus

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Corporate Construction Coordinator to provide information for the Rent Managers scope of work.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of material orders.
• Work with the Construction Coordinator to assign vendors and suppliers.
• Develop a detailed action plan with the Construction Coordinator.
• Monitor renovation progress to adhere to timelines.
• Serve as the primary liaison between contractors and Eagle Rock.
• Track and document renovation progress with reports and photos.
• Ensure budgets align with Asset Management parameters and secure approvals for out-of-scope work.
• Participate in weekly conference calls with Property Management and others.
• Oversee quality control throughout renovations.
• Review and approve related invoices in AVID.
