Job summary

Eagle Rock Properties is seeking a Construction Project Manager for the Long Island Region. The role focuses on planning, scheduling, and overseeing construction activities across multifamily properties in the Northeast.

You will coordinate contractors, vendors, architects, and permitting while maintaining budgets and schedules. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of PM leadership experience, strong construction knowledge, and the ability to troubleshoot infrastructure systems.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of project management experience in a leadership role.
• Strong general construction knowledge and ability to troubleshoot infrastructure systems.
• Highly organized with attention to detail and vendor coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee all construction project aspects within property management.
• Create, manage, and track schedules to keep projects on time and within budget.
• Scope, bid, negotiate with contractors, architects, and vendors.
• Obtain permits, licenses, and materials required for projects.
• Handle purchasing, cost analysis, and end-to-end project management.
• Provide clear written and verbal updates to senior management.

We are currently seeking a Construction Project Manager for the Long Island Region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and oversee all facets of construction projects within the Property Management field. This includes but is not limited to: Unit renovations, HVAC replacement/troubleshooting, Roofing, Plumbing, Electric, Landscaping, etc.
• Create, manage, and track schedules to ensure projects stay within budgeted timeframes
• Scope, bid, level, and negotiate with contractors, architects, and vendors
• Obtain necessary permits, licenses, and materials
• Must be able to handle purchasing, cost analysis, and project management from start to finish
• Provide clear written and verbal communication to senior management in regular progress updates
• Ability to multitask is a must
• Hands-on mechanical problem solver needed

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of project management experience in a leadership role
• In-depth general construction knowledge
• Ability to troubleshoot infrastructure systems
• Highly organized
• Candidate with knowledge of local vendors preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Bilingual is a plus
