Job summary

Eagle Rock Properties is seeking a Jr Project Manager to support our Albany Portfolio. The role involves assisting with vacant apartment capital improvement renovations, ensuring projects meet timelines and budgets while maintaining quality of finish.

Key tasks include coordinating with the Construction Coordinator, managing vendors, tracking progress, and communicating across Property Management teams. Strong organizational and construction knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of project management experience in a leadership role.
• In-depth general construction knowledge.
• Ability to troubleshoot infrastructure systems.
• Highly organized.
• Candidate with knowledge of local vendors preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Corporate Construction Coordinator to provide information for the Rent Managers scope of work.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of material orders.
• Assign appropriate vendors and suppliers for each renovation project.
• Develop a detailed action plan outlining tasks and timeline.
• Monitor renovation progress and address delays.
• Serve as the primary liaison between contractors and Eagle Rock.
• Track and document renovation progress with regular reporting and photos.
• Ensure budgets align with Asset Management parameters and secure approvals for out-of-scope work.
• Participate in weekly conference calls with Property Management and other stakeholders.
• Oversee quality control throughout renovations.
• Review and approve invoices in AVID.
