Job summary

JE Dunn Construction seeks an entry-level Project Engineer to support field execution on construction projects in Orlando, FL. The role involves understanding building processes, coordinating with the project team, and contributing to safety, quality, and Lean practices on site.

You will assist with documentation, reporting, and various project tasks, while growing skills in estimating, change management, and self-perform work under experienced supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• Equivalent relevant experience considered in lieu of degree.
• Entry-level construction experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participates in project QA/QC planning to ensure quality.
• Supports estimating and change management processes and tools.
• Works on site to monitor crew size, self-perform hours, materials, quantity and equipment.
• Prepares and disseminates project documentation.
• Keeps daily/weekly reports and schedules.
• Supports closeout activities and handover documentation.
