Job summary

Leidos Defense Systems Sector seeks a Junior Configuration Management Analyst to join a diverse team. You will oversee product design changes, ensure data integrity in PLM systems, and support documentation like CDRLs and SDRLs throughout the lifecycle.

The role requires on-site presence for most work days and close collaboration with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams. Base responsibilities include reviewing releases, maintaining BOMs and drawings, and generating CSA/audit reports.

Qualifications

• Requires a 4 year degree in a relevant field and 2-4 years of prior relevant experience; additional education, experience or training will be considered in lieu of degree.
• Resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
• Candidate must have working knowledge of technical domain concepts and PLM principles.
• Experience with PLM tools (Agile PLM, Oracle Agile, PTC Windchill, ENOVIA, Teamcenter, Aras).
• Familiarity with bill of materials, technical documents, drawings, schematics and specifications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Visio is a plus) and Adobe PDF editing.

Responsibilities

• Review design release documents for completeness and proper authorization.
• Manage data in PLM systems and deliver CDRLs/SDRLs and change records.
• Produce CSA reports, audit reports and data pull outputs.
• Collaborate with CM, engineering, manufacturing and quality teams across the lifecycle.
• Work on site for a minimum of 4+ days a week.
