AgileEngine is seeking a Junior/Middle Computer Vision Engineer to support data preparation, model training, and evaluation for our AI team handling large-scale image and video data. You will curate annotation workflows, run training jobs, and collaborate with senior engineers on failure-case analysis, with a clear path into applied modeling or MLOps.

You’ll work across data curation, training, and benchmarking, contributing to production deployments in a mentorship-driven environment.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of experience in software engineering, data science, machine learning, or a related field.
• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
• US work authorization; must be able to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Engineers located in the US must reside in Dallas, TX and be open to onsite work.
• Foundational coding skills in Python.
• Foundational understanding of machine learning concepts and workflows.
• Basic knowledge of computer vision principles (image processing, object detection basics).
• Basic familiarity with cloud environments and compute resources.

Responsibilities

• Curate large-scale image and video datasets, manage labeling workflows, ensuring high quality datasets.
• Run model training and evaluation jobs, ensuring experiments run smoothly and efficiently.
• Document training results and maintain evaluation benchmarks over time.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to analyze model failure cases and identify data/algorithm improvements.
• Own foundational tasks supporting the AI/ML lifecycle to accelerate production deployments.
