Job summary

Pockyt in New York, NY is hiring a Junior Compliance Analyst to support high-volume KYB/KYC reviews and merchant onboarding. You’ll verify documents, monitor risk, and escalate cases with clear summaries. This is an entry-level, hands-on role within a fast-moving, AI-native fintech.

You will work closely with the Compliance Manager and CCO, learning compliance workflows and contributing to screening, evidence preparation, and audit-ready case files.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years in compliance, risk, KYC/onboarding, fraud operations, or a fintech-related role.
• Exceptional attention to detail in reviewing documents and data.
• Ability to manage high-volume, repetitive tasks with accuracy.
• Strong organizational skills to track deadlines and maintain a clean paper trail.
• Ability to summarize cases clearly and escalate when needed.

Responsibilities

• Onboarding file prep: collect and chase KYB/KYC documents and verify basic entity details.
• Merchant acquiring support: verify business model, MCC, and review websites for policies.
• First-level screening: run and clear sanctions/PEP/adverse media hits with rationale.
• L1 transaction monitoring triage: work through ThetaRay alerts and document true/false positives.
• Acquiring risk monitoring: monitor chargeback/fraud ratios and assist with decisions.
• RFI coordination: draft/send RFIs and track responses.
• Periodic review support: refresh documents and re-run screenings.
• Evidence and record-keeping: maintain case logs and organize evidence packages.
• Data pulls and reporting: extract metrics for reviews and partner requests.
