Junior Compliance Analyst

Job summary

Amivero seeks a Compliance Analyst to support IT policy and governance by researching regulatory requirements and performing policy analysis. You will conduct gap analyses, draft findings, and develop corrective action plans to mitigate risks across IT operations.

You will collaborate with legal, IT leadership, and audit staff to ensure policies and procedures stay compliant and well-documented, while tracking remediation progress and mandates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Public Policy, Business, Compliance, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a technical writer, preferably supporting IT policy, compliance, or governance documentation.
• Demonstrated experience in IT compliance, policy analysis, risk management, or a related governance role.
• Experience mentoring junior Compliance Analysts.
• Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret regulatory language and assess organizational impact.
• Experience with compliance tracking, audit support processes, and documentation standards.
• Expert with Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) and compliance tracking or reporting tools.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent analyses and deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Position may be remote or hybrid depending on client requirements.

The Gist…

The Compliance Analyst supports the organization's IT Policy and Compliance program by conducting research, analysis, and evaluation across IT Lifecycle Management, Policy Analysis and Compliance, IT Process and System Optimization, and Executive Order and Mandate Management. This role identifies regulatory and policy requirements, assesses organizational alignment against those requirements, and develops findings and recommendations that support IT governance, risk mitigation, and standardized decision-making.

The Compliance Analyst works closely with the Technical Writer, IT leadership, legal and audit staff, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure that policies, procedures, and IT processes remain compliant, current, and aligned with organizational and regulatory requirements.
