Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2-3 years CNC machinist experience.
• Experience setting up and running CNC mills and/or lathes.
• Ability to read blueprints and GD&T.
• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments and G-code/M-code.
• Strong math skills, including basic trigonometry.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes to produce precision parts to print.
• Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T callouts, work instructions, and setup sheets.
• Load programs, set tools and offsets, and perform first-article inspections.
• Make offset and minor program adjustments to maintain dimensions and surface finish.
• Perform in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, etc.
• Monitor tool wear and replace/adjust tooling as needed.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and elevate when needed.
• Record production and inspection data accurately.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and keep areas clean and organized.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality to improve processes and yield.
