Job summary

CSI Electrical Contractors, Inc. (CSI Electric) is seeking a Civil/Structural Design Engineer to lead facility-level design and analysis for solar and Battery Storage (BESS) projects.

You will review commercial and utility plan sets, develop site surveys, and coordinate with customers, engineering teams, and contractors to deliver完整 design packages and ensure successful construction and energization. Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Civil/Structural Engineering with ABET accreditation preferred.
• Minimum 5–10 years of related work experience in civil/structural design for renewables.
• Experience with utility/commercial scale renewable EPC projects and independent engineering.
• Experience with solar PV/BESS projects is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide civil/structural plant design concepts and size equipment per project requirements (geotechnical, foundation design, grading).
• Review, coordinate, and comment on project plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Perform design calculations, QA/QC reviews, and ensure compliance with CSI standards.
• Support proposals, estimates, procurement, and construction through engineering input.
