Job summary

Viridan Group in New York is seeking a Civil/Structural Project Engineer to support its growing portfolio of utility-scale battery energy storage and solar-plus-storage projects, taking ownership of engineering reviews across the full project lifecycle.

You will collaborate with EPCs, consultants, and vendors to resolve design and construction challenges and help deliver projects on time across Northeast markets.

I'm partnering with a growing renewable energy company to find a Civil/Structural Project Engineer to support its expanding portfolio of utility-scale battery energy storage and solar-plus-storage projects.

This is an exciting opportunity for an engineer who wants to play a hands-on role in the energy transition, take ownership of critical engineering decisions, and work across the full project lifecycle-from design review through construction and commissioning.

What we're looking for:

• 3-5 years of project or field engineering experience in civil/structural construction supporting power generation or utility infrastructure.
• A strong foundation in civil and structural engineering, including grading, drainage, foundations, concrete, steel, and site development.
• Exposure to utility-scale solar, battery storage, substations, or other electrical infrastructure projects.
• Experience coordinating engineering consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary project teams.
• A bachelor's degree in engineering, ideally Civil Engineering.

Experience with Procore, Primavera P6, AutoCAD/Civil 3D, or an EIT certification is a plus.
