Job summary

Greenman-Pedersen, Inc. (GPI) seeks a civil site project engineer for our Albany, NY office. You will work on site plans, drainage, erosion control, grading and layout for diverse projects in higher education, K-12, commercial, municipal, and parks sectors.

Ideal candidates hold a BS in Civil Engineering (ABET-accredited) with EIT preferred, and experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and HydroCAD. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

BS in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
EIT preferred.
Exposure to land development design, grading, drainage, and stormwater management.
Working knowledge of AutoCAD with Civil 3D preferred.
Exposure to HydroCAD and hydrological/hydraulic design.

Responsibilities

Involved in the design of site plans, including drainage, erosion, and sedimentation control, grading, and layout.
Conducting research and field investigations.
Supporting production of plans, reports, specifications, and other studies.
Performing hydrologic and hydraulic analysis
Preparation of cost estimates and specifications
Partnering with supervisory team to meet future goals and visions.
