The role emphasizes hands-on learning, professional development, and guidance toward licensure, with opportunities to contribute to design calculations, drawings, and technical reports under supervision.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
• EIT certification or ability to obtain within one year preferred.
• Internship, co-op, or relevant engineering experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with planning, design, and development of site engineering projects (commercial, residential, transportation, municipal).
• Prepare design calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical reports under supervision.
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to develop site plans and construction documents.
• Support grading, drainage, stormwater management, utility, erosion control, and roadway design efforts.
• Coordinate with project managers, senior engineers, and surveyors.
• Perform site visits and field inspections to collect data and monitor progress.
• Assist with permit applications and regulatory submissions.
• Review construction documents and shop drawings for compliance.
• Participate in project meetings and contribute to technical problem‑solving discussions.
• Ensure designs comply with codes, standards, and client requirements.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and records.
