Job summary

Hoyle Tanner & Associates, Inc. is seeking an Entry Level Civil Engineer for our New England Municipal Engineering Division.

This role can be based in Manchester or Portsmouth, NH, and you will work within a team delivering municipal infrastructure projects with guidance from a project engineer or manager. Responsibilities include producing civil design documents, grading, drainage, and utility plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D; performing stormwater calculations; assisting with construction drawings

Qualifications

• BSCE/ME preferred.
• 0-3 years of experience in consulting civil engineering, surveying, or construction.
• EIT/EI preferred, or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Work on municipal infrastructure and civil engineering projects within an assigned team.
• Prepare civil engineering design documents for site development, roadway, utility, drainage, and municipal infrastructure projects.
• Develop grading, drainage, erosion control, utility, and roadway plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Perform engineering calculations related to stormwater management, hydraulics, and site design.
• Assist with construction drawings, technical specifications, and cost estimates.
• May attend site visits with project engineer or project manager at meetings with clients and contractors.
