Job summary

HR Green, a longstanding civil and environmental engineering firm, seeks an entry-level Civil Engineer in Houston, TX. You will contribute to water and wastewater projects under mentorship, learning from a team of experienced engineers.

You will assist with design of pipelines, pumping stations, and treatment facilities, conduct field visits, and coordinate with CAD designers to ensure quality and on-time delivery. This role offers a strong growth path within a national engineering leader.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an accredited engineering program.
• 0–4 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Proficient knowledge of Word, Excel, and basic office software.
• Knowledge and familiarity with AutoCAD and Civil3D preferred.
• Engineer-In-Training certification or ability to obtain within six months.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team or independently to learn, evaluate, and apply engineering principles, standards, and criteria.
• Assist in the design of water and wastewater pipelines, pumping stations, and treatment facilities
• Conduct field visits as necessary for various projects
• Communicate effectively and coordinate with project team members including CAD designers and other engineers.
